This salve is useful for the relief and healing of poison ivy exposure. Jewelweed is nature’s antidote against poison ivy. Blue chamomile essential oil helps reduce inflammation. Poison Ivy Relief Salve is also effective against poison oak and stinging nettle irritation.

Proper identification of poison ivy is very important! Here are some characteristics to look for:
This plant has three leaves that are glossy and oval shaped. Flowers and berries are white. This plant can take the form of a trailing or climbing vine or as an erect shrub. If exposed, wash area with cold water and soap. Avoid hot water, it will cause the irritating oil (urushiol) to spread. After washing, apply Poison Ivy Relief Salve to help with itching and pain.
